Bank Indonesia has recently issued two regulations revoking Regulation on Third Party Interest Guarantees for Inter Bank Money Markets and Regulation on Exercise of Government Guarantee Program toward Community Credit Banking’s Payment Obligation.

The regulation was revoked in response to the entry into force of Deposit Guarantee Agency last September. The Regulation on government’s payment obligation and interest on third party Inter Bank Money Market is therefore no longer relevant and needs to be revoked.

These Regulations were revoked through PBI No. 7/33/PBI/2005 and No. 7/32/PBI/2005 respectively. All duties, functions, and procedures previously regulated by the Government and contained in those Regulations have now transferred to the Deposit Guarantor Agency.
