Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia

Prof. Dr. Satrio Budihardjo Joedono

Chairman

Chairman Satrio Budihardjo Joedono was born on December 1, 1940 in Pangkalpinang on the island of Bangka in what was then the NetherlandsIndies.

He entered government service as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Indonesia In 1964, and after obtaining a doctorate degree in public administration (State University of New York at Albany), continued his career in teaching, research and administration at the Faculty of Economics at UI in 1969, eventually becoming Professor of Organization Theory in 1987. He served as Director of the Institute for Economic and Social Research (1970-1978), Academic Dean at the Faculty (1978-1982) and was Vice Rector for General Administration at the University of Indonesia (1982-1986).

He was Assistant to the Minister of Trade (1970-1973), Assistant to the Minister of Research (1973-1978), Assistant Minister of Research and Technology (1978-1982 and 1986-1988), and Assistant Minister for Industry and Energy under the Coordinating Minister of Economics, Finance and Industry in 1988 to 1993, mainly responsible for deregulation and privatization.

Professor Joedono became President Soeharto’s Minister of Trade in 1993-1995, and was Ambassador to France and Andorra, from 1996 t0 1998.

Ambassador Joedono then was elected Chairman of the Board of Audit for the period of 1998-2003.

Drs. Bambang Triadji

Vice Chairman

Before designated as the Vice Chairman, he had become Secretary General of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia for five years since 1993.

He started working for government in the Department of Finance in 1961. And spent more of his career in that department, especially in the Directorate General of Budgeting. In 1993, Drs. Bambang Triadji ended his career in the Department of Finance afterwards appointed as the Secretary General of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia.

In field of education, he is a lecturer in Mochtar Thalib College lecturing Cost Accounting Management. Besides that he is also honorary lecturer in the University of Padjadjaran Bandung. Graduated as a Bachelor of Economics from the University of 17 Agustus Jakarta, now Drs. Bambang Triadji is taking his Doctoral degree at the University of Padjadjaran Bandung.

Laksda TNI I Gde Artjana, S.Ip

Member

I Gde Artjana was assigned as the Board Member of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia in 1998 who supervise the Auditorat I which responsible to audit Department of Defense, the Army Force, the Police Department, Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Justice and human Rights, Department of Transportation and Telecomunication, Department of Manpower and Transmigration, Department of Culture and Tourism, Attorney General, and BIKN.

Most of Laksda TNI I Gde Artjana, S.Ip was done in the Army Force (TNI).

He has been active in the Legislative Assembly since 1995 as a Representative from the Army Force faction.

He had ever been not only the Commission Head of DPR-RI for APBN from 1995 to 1997, but also the VIII Commission Head of DPR-RI from 1997 to 1998.

Afterwards, Laksda TNI I Gde Artjana was assigned to be a Board Member of the Audit Board of Indonesia in 1998.

He completed his study at the University Terbuka majoring Sosial Studies.

Drs. Bambang Wahyudi, MM

Member

Has been assigned a Board Member of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia since 1998 who supervise the Auditorat II which responsible to audit Department of Finance, Department of Energy and Mineral Resources, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Settlement and Regional Infrastructure, Department of Cooperatives and Small/Medium Enterpries, Department of Agriculture and Forestry.

He started working as Director of PT. ARYA in 1968. He had entered the Legislative Assembly since 1971 by becoming the Member of Parliament for West Java Province. He became a member of DPR RI from 1987 to 1992. Afterwards in 1997 up to 1998, he was reelected as the MPR RI Member for the third times.

His contribution to education is by dedicating himself as a lecturer in the University of Padjajaran Bandung since 1980 up to now. In 1992 to 1995, he was trusted to be the Third Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economy University of Padjajaran Bandung. His last education is Master of Management from the University of Padjajaran Bandung.

Drs. Moh. Mukrom As’ad, Ak

Member

Mukrom was appointed as Member of The Audit Board of Indonesia since 1998.

He is assigned to supervise the Auditorat III of the Audit Board among which are responsible to audit Secretariat of State, Non Ministerial Government Agencies, Secretariats of High organs of State, Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Religion, Agency for Social Welfare, Ministry of Health and Ministry of State for Tansmigration. Drs. Moh Mukrom As'ad has an active role in some organizations, among which are he served as Secretary of Official Council of Sarbumusi West Java Province and has served in various position in one of Islamic Association, Nahdatul Ulama, West Java Province since 1974. From 1989 to 1994, Drs. Moh Mukrom As'ad was appointed as Chairman of Social culture Department and Public Affairs of Central Official Council Union Development Party (DPP-PPP). His career in Parliament began in 1972 as Vice Chairman of Parliament for West Java Province. From 1982 to 1987 he was elected as Member of Parliament, central level. He has also ever served as Member of Supreme Advisory Council from 1987 to 1992. And re-elected as Member of Parliament for the second time in 1992.

Sugiarto, S.H.

Member

Sugiarto was appointed as Member of the Audit Board since 1998. He is assigned to supervise the Auditorat IV of the Audit Board among which are responsible to audit Ministry of Home Affairs, Autonomous Regional Government level I and level II regional State Owned Enterprises.  Sugiarto SH joined the Audit Board in 1971 and has served in various capacities.  Prior to his appointment, Sugiarto SH in 1998 was appointed as Expert Staff of Regional Finance Audit and Regional State Owned Enterprise and at the same appointed as Member of the Board.

Drs. Amrin Siregar, Ak

Member

Amrin was appointed member of the Audit Board of Indonesia since 1998. He is assigned to supervise the Auditorat V of the Audit Board which is responsible to audit State Owned Enterprises. Drs. Amrin Siregar, having graduated with a degree in Accountancy from the University of Indonesia, joined the Audit Board of Indonesia in 1970 and has served in varies capacities rising to the position of the Member of Board. Prior to his election, Drs. Amrin Siregar was Vice Chairman of Sub Team PAPPPSA of Ministry of Finance from 1988 to 1998. At present he is still served as Chairman of Professional Advisory Council, Indonesian Accountant Association from 1996.
