Some states and Indonesian donor institutions have agreed to hold routine meetings to discuss an investment climate in Indonesia, Japanese Ambassador Yutaka Iimura said here Monday.

US ambassador, World Bank leaders and I, have decided to have talks from time to time with Indonesian finance and economic ministers to discuss investment climate in Indonesia, he said after a meeting with Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Dorodjatun Kuntjoro-Jakti.

The effort to encourage investment climate in Indonesia, he said, is a very important thing which is not only to improve Indonesian economy but also to encourage foreign investors to do business in Indonesia.
