Sarda Energy & Minerals Ltd informed BSE that the Indonesian authorities have granted environment clearance for the coal mines and accordingly licence has been issued for mining of coal.
As per report the company had earlier announced that it has through its wholly owned subsidiary based in Singapore entered into a long term arrangement to buy coal originating from mines in Indonesia with a provision for sharing of economic benefits.
