Minister of Environment Regulation on Guidelines of Implementation of Strategic Environment

The Minister of Environment has issued Regulation No. 27 Year 2009 concerning Guidelines of Implementation of Strategic Environment which was effective since 3 July 2009. The regulation intends to maintain and conserve the strategic environment through integration of 3 main principles policy, planning and developing.

The Regulation requires the Central and Local Government to manage the strategic environment under their respective authority. The regulation focuses on the issue of policy, planning and program (Kebijakan, Rencana dan/atau Program/KRP) and stipulates the principles of strategic environment studies (Kajian Lingkungan Hidup Strategis), which consist as follows:

B. Ongoing

C. Focused

D. Transparency

E. Accountable

F. Participation

G. Integrated
