LGS has long been acknowledged as a leader among the region’s law firms. This reputation also supported by the reputable awards received by LGS, which prove the acknowledgment by the legal and business society. The followings are awards that particularly stand out:

• Award for “Law Firm of the Year Capital Markets, M&A and Project Finance - Indonesia” in 2011 by DealMakers Monthly Magazine;
• Award for “Insolvency Law Firm of the Year” in 2011 by Lawyer Monthly Magazine;
• Award for “Top Corporate & Commercial Law Firm - Indonesia” in 2011 by InterContinental Finance Magazine;
• Award for “Competition/Antitrust Law Firm of the Year in Indonesia” in 2010 by Corporate Intl Magazine;
• Award for “Litigation Advisory Firm of the Year in Indonesia” in 2010 by Corporate Intl Magazine;

• Nominated in “The Equity Market Deal of the Year” in 2009 for involvement in PT ADARO Energy Tbk. IPO transaction by Asian Legal Business;
• Nominated as “Indonesia Deal Firm of the Year” by Asian Legal Business in June 2008;
• Award for “The Best Corporate Law Firm” in June 2006 by the Young Indonesia Lawyer Club;
• Award for “South East Asia Merger and Acquisition Deal of the Year” by Asian Legal Business in February 2006. This honour was awarded to LGS in connection with LGS involvement in the PT Adaro Indonesia transaction;
• Award for “South East Asia Insolvency & Restructuring Deal of the Year” by Asian Legal Business in February 2006. This honour was awarded to LGS in connection with LGS involvement in the Asia Pulp and Paper transaction;
• Award for “Indonesia Deal Firm of the Year” by Asian Legal Business in February 2006;
• Award for “South East Deal of the Year” by Asian Legal Business in February 2006. This honour was awarded to LGS in respect to LGS involvement in the PT Adaro Indonesia transaction;
• Nominated for “Retructuring Deal of the Year” by IFLR Asia Award 2006. This prestigious nomination was given based on the involvement of LGS in Asia Pulp and Paper transaction;
• Nominated for “Debt and Equity Linked of the Year” by IFLR Asia Award 2006. This prestigious nomination was given based on the involvement of LGS in PT Adaro Indonesia transaction;
• Achievement Award 2005 for “Best Non-Investment Great Bond Deal”, which has been announced in the prestigious Finance Asia magazine of January 2006. This honour was awarded to LGS, who acted as Indonesian counsel, and the other law firms involved in PT Adaro's US$ 400 million Senior Secured Notes Issue;
• Award for “The Best Restructuitng Deal in Asia” given by IFLR 2003;
• First place in Restructurization category for “Asian Legal Deals of the Year 2002”.The restructurization was included in the debt and company restructurization of PT Chandra Asri, the owner of one of the biggest petrochemical producer in the world, amounted to US$ 1,9 Billion;
• First place in Equity category for “Asian Legal Deals of the Year 2002”. The respective Right Issue was considered as the biggest equity in 2002 in Indonesia. The project was related to the previous Astra debt restructurization in 2002 amounted to US$ 860 million which followed by the right issue on 30 December 2002;
• First Place for “The Best Restructuring Deal in Asia” by IFLR 2001. This honor was awarded to LGS, who acted as Indonesian counsel, and the other law firms involved in the Asia Pulp and Papers debt restructuring;
• Award for “The Best Restructuring Deal in Asia” given by IFLR 2001. The honour was awarded to LGS as one of the Indonesian Legal Counsel, along together with another firms, involved in the restructurization of the second Astra International debt;
• Nominated for “The Best Asian Firm” by IFLR 2001;
• Nominated for “United Airlines Award for Regional Law Firm of the Year 1999”. LGS was the only Indonesian law firm nominated in such prestigious award and along together with law firms from Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia;
• Award for restructurization category in “Asian Legal Deals of the year 1999”. The award was given to LGS as one of the Indonesian Legal Counsel, along together with another firms, involved in the restructurization of Astra International debt amounted to US$1.2 Billion.

The aforementioned honours were awarded based on the results of extensive sampling and in-depth analysis of both clients and peers.
